Albany County Sheriff charges four people after executing search warrants at Motel 6

Will Waldron/Albany Times UnionALBANY — Drugs were allegedly being sold out of motel rooms at the Motel 6 on Watervliet Avenue, according to a press release from the Albany County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.
Officers said they executed three search warrants at Motel 6 Monday and recovered six glassine bags containing a quantity of heroin that was not specified by the sheriff’s office, as well as crack cocaine, more than $1,200 in cash, a digital scale and packaging materials, the sheriff’s office said.
Four people ages 26 to 36 were charged in connection with the narcotics investigation.
