The GOAT received the ultimate holiday real estate gift: The sprawling Brookline estate of supermodel Gisele Bündchen and former New England Patriot Tom Brady has a new owner.

The sale of the 12,112-square-foot mansion at 112 Woodland Road transacted on Christmas Eve, according to Massachusetts land records. The sale noted 3DBB Brookline LLC — a limited liability corporation tied to Brady — agreed on the sale to James Kittler, a trustee who runs JDJ Family Office Services. Kittler is not believed to be the actual buyer.

A sales price was not included on the land record, but the home was originally listed at $39.5 million then dropped to $33.9 million before being taken off the market at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. The home was listed off-market late this summer with a new broker — and the price was not public knowledge — but Boston real estate circles believe the property was offered at $32.5 million.

When contacted by Boston.com, Maggie Gold Seelig, the listing agent and founder of luxury boutique firm MGS Group Real Estate, could confirm only that the property sold to a Boston-area buyer.

Off-market listings like the one at 112 Woodland Road have grown in popularity across Greater Boston in recent years.

“I often find whether a property is on-market or quietly available off-market that I can connect the dots by picking up the phone,” Seelig told the Globe earlier this month. “Relationships matter and knowing who is in the market often really matters.”

The sale signals an official farewell to Boston from the iconic athlete and Brazilian model, who famously showed off the property as part of Vogue’s “73 Questions” series.

The five-bedroom home adjacent to The Country Club includes a wine room, yoga studio, gym, and guest house. Its sale also comes at a time when Greater Boston’s real estate market has heated up amid the pandemic.

Former Reebok CEO Paul Fireman’s Brookline mansion near the Brady-Bündchen estate sold this summer for $23 million. Land adjacent to the former Fireman home sold earlier this month for $18 million, and developer Cindy Stumpo is expected to build five luxury single-family homes there.
