Two New Yorkers are walking away a whole lot wealthier.
Two Mega Millions tickets were sold in the city. One at Moonlight Deli and Grocery in Astoria and the other at a Bolla convenience store in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn.
The two winners won second prize in the drawing.
The first prize ticket worth a billion dollars was sold in Michigan.
We spoke with a worker at Moonlight Deli on what it was like to have sold one of those winning tickets.
“I was so surprised, unexpected,” said Mohammed Saeed, a worker at Moonlight Deli and Grocery.
Both stores are waiting for the winners to come forward to claim their prizes.
