Yesterday, Kevin Vaughan and Mike Klis broke the news that the upcoming trial filed by Amie Bowlen Klemmer and Beth Bowlen Wallace against the Broncos trustees currently managing ownership of the team would be vacated after a joint motion was filed by both parties involved in the dispute.
This means that for now lawsuit trial pitting Pat Bowlen’s two oldest daughters Beth Bowlen Wallace, Amie Klemmer against trustees Joe Ellis, Rich Slivka, Mary Kelly is off.

Although there was nothing specifically said about a sale, and details of the decision are sealed, cancelling the trial most likely indicates there is some kind of settlement happening or an agreement to sell the team that satisfies all parties with an ownership stake.
For this humble Bronco fan, I don’t really have a side to take here other than that Pat Bowlen was an awesome owner who did it right. There doesn’t seem to be any worthy or competent owners to be had from the younger Bowlens and the trust headed up by Ellis has been a poor substitute for a real leader calling the business shots and staying out of the way.
