Stadium Seating Sold Out for Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate – Baseball — Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - Georgia Tech

THE FLATS – Both stadium seating and standing-room only tickets have sold out for No. 10 Georgia Tech baseball’s highly anticipated top-10 showdown with Georgia on Friday, March 4 at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium, it was announced today.

The game will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra and WREK 91.1 FM. Tickets still remain for the Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate finale at Coolray Field on Sunday, March 6. Tickets and full information can be found HERE!

Parking for Friday night’s game will be available in Klaus Deck and Peter’s Deck for $5. Klaus Deck will open 3.5 hours prior to first pitch and Peter’s Deck will open alongside gates opening at 90 minutes prior to first pitch.

FIRST PITCH CEREMORIES

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for Friday’s game as Georgia Tech will have two special first-pitch ceremonies.

Georgia Tech alumnus and NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough (Col., U.S. Army, Ret.) will be in attendance to throw out a first pitch after returning from his second expedition on the International Space Station.

Also returning to The Flats for Friday’s first-pitch ceremonies will be Georgia Tech alumnus and professional tennis player Chris Eubanks. Eubanks has made three US Open appearances and five Grand Slam tournament appearances since turning professional in 2017.

19TH ANNUAL SPRING CLASSIC FOR KIDS

The 19th annual Spring Classic for Kids game on Sunday, March 6 will be the Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate finale as Georgia Tech and Georgia square off at Coolray Field, the home of the Gwinnett Stripers (Triple-A affiliate to the Atlanta Braves).

First pitch is set for 2 p.m. and fans can purchase tickets for the Sunday matchup by clicking HERE! Proceeds from ticket sales go toward funding critical patient and family initiatives at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. All tickets are general admission.

Fans will have the opportunity to take a picture with the 2021 World Series Trophy and the Atlanta Braves mascot, Blooper! Fans can also stay after the game for Kids Run the Bases.
