BLOOMINGTON (HOI) -- The Bloominton-Normal Sunrise Rotary Club brought its annual "Brats & Bags" fundraiser back for 2021.
At $9 or $10 a piece, Rotarians sold some 1,200 brats and hosted a bags tournament on Friday.
All the proceeds went to the Midwest Food Bank and the Timber Pointe Outdoor Center.
"Our constant work as a club is to make sure that we're helping our local community be better," event co-chair Chris Downing said, "We're really focused on making sure kids have a safe and healthy experience and that we have a healthy community that we want to be a part of."
Between 60 and 70 teams competed in the bags tournament.
Rotary organizers said it was exciting to have such a good turnout.
