Reese Witherspoon’s media business, Hello Sunshine, is slated to be sold.

The buyer is a firm backed by private equity company Blackstone Group Inc. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, people familiar with the matter put the total at around $900 million.

Hello Sunshine's production portfolio includes HBO drama "Big Little Lies."
