Home of Boyd Industries is sold
The site at 12900 44th St. N. in Pinellas Park, where dental equipment manufacturer Boyd Industries Inc. is located, has been sold.
The property was owned by commercial real estate firm The Federated Companies, which sold it to New York-based investment firm Angelo Gordon for roughly $8.14 million.
Angelo Gordon focuses on credit and real estate investing.
The property has a 60,000-square-foot building on 5.38 acres. There is excess land for building expansion or outside storage, according to a description from Loopnet.
The sale of the property follows the acquisition of Boyd Industries, a 60-year old manufacturer of specialized dental and medical chairs and cabinetry.
Private equity firm Salt Creek Capital recently sold Boyd Industries to the company’s CEO Adrian LaTrace. Salt Creek originally partnered with LaTrace to buy the company in 2012, according to reports.
Dunedin mansion has a new owner
The 6,446-square-foot home at 131 Edgewater Drive in Dunedin has sold in a $3.675 million deal.
The 131 Edgewater Enterprises LLC entity, which is tied to Marvin and Linda Feldman, sold the property to Lynn Ann Bradley.
The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home was built in 2016 on a 1.21-acre lot.
The home features a family room with a fireplace and high ceilings, a kitchen with high-end appliances and quartz countertops, a gym with an infrared sauna and a home theater that has stadium seating for eight, according to the listing.
Outside the main house, there is a saltwater pool, basketball and shuffleboard courts and a two-story cabana with a spiral staircase.
The poolside cabana features a full kitchen and bathroom, and a washer and dryer.
The second floor of the cabana has private guest quarters.
The seller was represented by Kerryn Ellson with Coastal Properties Group. The buyer was represented by Jeffrey Queen with Sandpeak Realty.
Redington Beaches restaurant and property switch hands
Several properties in Redington Beach have been sold to Tampa-based CJ Real Estate Partners for $2.375 million.
One of the properties sold by Beach B LLC was the property at 17814 Gulf Blvd., a 3,807-square-foot restaurant, which reportedly has closed.
It served tea, coffee, salads and sandwiches.
The other sold properties include three vacant commercial lots on Coral Avenue, according to the property appraiser’s website.
Red Roof hotel in Clearwater sells
The 59,448-square-foot Red Roof Inn St Petersburg – Clearwater/Airport has switched hands in a $6.75 million deal.
SNG Clearwater LLC, an entity tied to Gandhi Shreya, sold the 121-unit hotel property at 3580 Ulmerton Road to Sarasota developer Marc Gagliardi, a representative for SRQ 2 and SRQ 3.
Home sale in Madeira Beach marks the highest price per square foot
The home at 13090 131st Ave. W. in Madeira Beach has sold for $2.229 million – making it the highest price per square foot garnered for a single-family home in the area.
The 1,238-square-foot beach bungalow is described as having an “Old Florida” charm.
The home was built in 1925 and has undergone extensive renovations.
Kristin Hallamek and Welly Garza of the Hallamek Team with Engel and Völkers Belleair held the listing.
