A Lehigh Valley store sold a Powerball ticket that was one number away from winning the billion-dollar jackpot.
Jerry’s Deli, at 2158 West Union Boulevard in Bethlehem, sold the ticket for Monday’s drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery said.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 13-19-36-39-59, and the red Powerball number 13. The ticket is worth $150,000, less applicable withholding, and the deli will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
It is one of 296,200 winners from the Monday night drawing, but no one matched all the numbers and won the jackpot.
The next Powerball drawing for Wednesday is currently at an estimated jackpot of $1.2 billion, which would be $596.7 million if the winner chooses the cash option.
