MIAMI COUNTY — Fire crews were dispatched to a house fire in Miami County.

Miami County fire crews were dispatched to a house fire in the 8443 Troy Urbana Rd just north of Casstown around 4:30 p.m.

News Center 7 crews on the scene reported heavy white smoke and flames.

Fire crews on scene told News Center 7 that they had to call in trucks with more water.

A neighbor told News Center 7 that the house had just recently sold and was under renovation.

Miami County property records indicate the house sold on Oct. 16 for $300,000.

When crews initially arrived on the scene they reported a fully engulfed house fire with the whole front porch on fire, according to emergency scanner traffic.

Multiple tankers were called in for mutual aid. It is unclear if there were any injuries.

Miami County Dispatchers confirmed that a call was made to this address, but there were no preliminary details available.
