Moved from the fairgrounds in Harmony Township and pushed back a month, the Warren County Hot Air Balloon Festival NJ continues Friday through Sunday.

However, due to capacity limits, the event hosted by Warren County Community College in Washington Township is sold out for on-site viewing of both morning and evening mass-launch viewings and rides, organizers said Friday.

Visible beyond the campus, the mass launches last about 30 to 40 minutes and are set for when winds are calmest -- around 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The event also features a drone demonstrations by the college.

This festival is usually held annually at the Warren County Farmers’ Fair, which was canceled for 2020 due to restrictions in place to help stem the spread of the coronavirus.

All guests need to pass a COVID-19 questionnaire to enter, and are reminded to have a mask with them to wear when it is not possible to social distance from others while on site.
