LANSING, MI – It was an extremely lucky St. Patrick’s Day for a lottery player from Michigan as someone bought a winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million. However, there was no winner of the $185 million Powerball jackpot for the drawing held on Wednesday, March 17.
That means the Powerball drawing on Saturday, March 20 will be worth $200 million with a cash option of $136.5 million.

Powerball winners for March 17:
· While there was no grand prize winner, three players matched all five white numbers drawn to win $1 million. Those tickets were sold in Michigan, New York and South Carolina.
· However, none of those players also played the Power Play option which would have increased their winnings to $2 million.
· The $1 million winner sold in Michigan was bought on the Michigan Lottery website.
· The $1 million winner was also the largest prize won in the state.
· There were 644,365 tickets sold that won at least $4 in the drawing. In Michigan, 21,022 tickets sold won at least $4 in the drawing.
Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26). Tickets cost $2 each.

· The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, March 19 with an estimated jackpot of $105 million and a cash option of $71.1 million.
· The next Lotto 47 drawing Saturday, March 20 at 7:29 p.m. with a jackpot of $4.35 million. Deadline is 7:08 p.m. that day.
· Thursday’s Fantasy 5 jackpot is an estimated $158,000. The drawing is at 7:29 p.m. Deadline is 7:08 p.m.
