New Jersey has a winner!
Mega Millions announced Saturday morning a winning jackpot ticket from Friday night’s drawing was sold in the Garden State for the second time this year, scoring the winner a cool $124 million ($100.8 million cash).
A single ticket matched all six numbers —the white balls 8, 33, 39, 54 and 58, plus the gold Mega Ball 17. It’s unclear where in the state the ticket was sold or if the winner has come forward.
Back in February, another New Jersey ticket took a $202 million prize, sold in Edison. A $190 million Powerball jackpot winner was sold in Piscataway in April.
The jackpot for the next drawing on Tuesday resets to $20 million ($16.2 million cash).
