UNION CITY — Someone scored a huge catch at the Seafood City Supermarket store here Wednesday night, winning the top prize of $165,742 in the Fantasy 5 lotto game, officials said.
The identity of the winner, the only one in the state to pick all five game numbers, is not yet known. The winning numbers were 10, 20, 22, 27 and 29.
The market where the winning ticket was purchased is located at 31840 Alvarado Blvd., in the Alvarado Plaza Shopping Center.
It is the first time such a large winning lottery game ticket has been sold at the store.
Vivian Tarantan, the assistant store manager, said Thursday morning she had heard someone bought the ticket there, but has no idea yet who it might be.
“I’m so glad for them,” she said.
The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize.
The Fantasy 5 game is played every night of the week. Thursday night’s top prize was estimated to be at least $70,000.
