Coinbase Stock Hits Highest Level Since May 2022 as Bitcoin Rallies
Shares in cryptocurrency broker Coinbase Global hit their highest level since early May 2022 on Friday as Bitcoin—the largest crypto—rallied past $38,000, its highest point over the same time period.
Coinbase stock was up 6.8% midway through Black Friday’s abridged trading hours, its highest close since May 4 of last year. Shares in the broker have advanced more than 225% so far this year as Bitcoin bounced back from the depths of a prolonged and brutal bear market—though there remains a compelling bear case for the stock.
